You’re dynamic, brilliant, and alluring to those who don’t know you.
Hyper and full of energy, you’re usually the last one to leave a party.
Sometimes your sharp mind gets the better of you… you’re a bit paranoid!
I fell asleep on the couch around 7pm and woke up at like 11pm. It’s now almost 4am and I can’t sleep at all. I hate it when I do this. If I go to bed now, I’ll probably not be able to fall asleep until 4:30 or later, at which point my normal wake up time of 7:00 to 7:30am will be almost impossible to do because after 3 hours I’m usually in a very deep sleep. I’m debating staying up the rest of the night, but if I do that, I’ll be really tired at work tomorrow. Ugh.
In response to the tip over at lifehacker.com where they suggest using a coffee filter, I thought I’d share what I’ve been using for the past 4 years.
If you have a pop-up style flash like I do, you can just put a medicine cup over it like the kind you get with every bottle of cough syrup you buy. I had several of these things sitting around and in a stroke of genius, I thought why not put one of these over flash. After testing it out, I found that it works extremely well and is easy to throw in a camera bag. If I lose or break it, no problem, just swipe another from an old bottle of cough syrup.
OK, I wasn’t going to post another video on here for a while (I don’t really want this to become a video blog of cool stuff I found on YouTube.), but I couldn’t pass this one up. This is Erik Mongrain playing a composition that he made when he was travelling. Apparently this is from “Belle et Bum”, a popular music show in Quebec. I’ve never really heard anything like this. I’ve seen the guitar played like this many times, and have even played a dulcimer myself a long time ago. Anyway have a listen and be amazed.
I just updated the permalink structure in WordPress, so those of you who syndicate my feed will see a whole bunch of new stuff that really isn’t new. Sorry about that.
