Now this is an interesting beer! (or curious as it were… haha) Matt gave me a bottle of this stuff for my birthday, so I knew I would like it, but I just didn’t know that it would taste this good! Apparently, Allagash takes thier Tripel Ale and ages it in Jim Beam barrels for 8 weeks. It’s easily identifiable as a Belgian style Tripel, but this beer has an extra kick… you can really taste the bourbon! There are also hints of citrus in the smell. There is also a very familiar flavor in the aftertaste that just barely hangs on the palate, but I can’t seem to place it. This an excellent beer. If you enjoy bourbon whiskey and beer, Curieux should be on your must taste list.

I think I like this better than popping up a message box. Sometimes I’ll click on a few links and let them load while I do other things. If the link is bad, I’d much rather get this so I can look at it when I’m ready, rather than be interrupted by a message box. It is certainly better than IE’s overriding every server error as well. Also, that try again button is really nice. *Hugs Firefox*

Check back in a month

Development is underway! I gave my proposal presentation tonight, and I think I nailed it. There were no questions from the faculty, and only one question from a student to clarify what I had previously covered. I’ll probably post my proposal paper and maybe even the presentation file later. Woo Hoo!! It feels as though a great weight has been lifted from my shoulders!
